People generally come to Galiano Island by ferry, arriving at the B.C. Ferries dock at Sturdies Bay, particularly if travelling in a motor vehicle.

If you're arriving on foot, or by boat at Montague Harbour or Montague Provincial Park  please call us for a ride (your mobile phone will work at either Montague or Sturdies Bay, although not in other spots - there's a pay phone at Montague Marina). 

We don't guarantee to pick you up, but we'll certainly try!  For best results call well in advance.  Currently there is no taxi service on the island.

By car, truck, or bike, you drive off of the ferry directly onto Sturdies Bay Road . . . 

• Follow Sturdies Bay Road past the lumber yard and South Galiano Hall until you reach the Hummingbird Pub
• Immediately after the driveway into the Pub, turn right onto Porlier Pass Road
• Follow Porlier Pass Road past Highview Drive to Ellis Road
• Turn right onto Ellis Road
• Follow Ellis Road to Linklater Road (S-L-O-W-L-Y please!  Watch for deer!)
• Turn right onto Linklater Road
• Follow Linklater Road to St. Andrews Crescent (the 9th fairway is on your right as you drive)
• Turn right onto St Andrews Crescent
• You're here!!
• IMMEDIATELY keep to the right as you climb the short steep drive, and then you'll reach the Golf Course Parking Lot
• You have travelled exactly 4 kilometres from the ferry docks! 
• Come on into the Club House and meet Barbara and the rest of her Friendly Crew!
