THE JUNIOR LEARN TO GOLF PROGRAM
Dates: July 7th, 8th and 9th 2025
Time: 8:30 am - 12:00 pm (3.5 hours)
The Youth Golf Camp which ran July 7,8 and 9th. We had 40 young golfers ranging in age from 5 to 16. The kids really enjoyed it and we have seen a number of them out practicing their new skills and taking advantage of the free memberships they also received. A big thank you to all the members, staff and volunteers who made it a huge success. And especially to John Hatch for once again organizing this event and to the Galiano Island Parks and Recreation Commission for their sponsorship of our Learn to Play golf camp, supporting it through a grant.
GALIANO HEALTHCARE CENTRE'S ANNUAL FUNDRAISER

We were honoured to once again host the Galiano Healthcare Centre’s Annual Fundraiser Tournament. 44 golfers came out to enjoy a lovely day and a fun 9 hole best ball game. There was golf, dinner, drinks and a lot of great prizes. A huge thanks to the businesses who supported the event through hole sponsorships, donations and whatever they could do to help out.
To everyone who came out and participated in the event. And especially to Angela Thompson who headed things up for the Healthcare Centre and Laurie Baines for leading things at our end. With tickets, draws and 50/50 the event raised $6400 for GHCC! A resounding success!
GALIANO OPEN: September 2025 (Dates TBC)
Golf starts at 2pm as per usual and the event includes buffet dinner and prizes.
You can play 9 or 18 holes just like last year. It can be for fun or competition - it's all up to how you want to play.
Men's Night
Men's "night" is initially held on Saturday afternoons starting in April and transitions to Thursday nights at 5:00 p.m. in the summer when it's light until late!
We're usually wrapped up by 7:00 p.m. It's a great group and lots of fun - food and drinks are usually served afterward! There's also the chance of winning the 50/50 prize for a hole in one!
You don't have to be a member to join us and you can be competitive or non-competitive.
Ladies Day
The Ladies meet every Tuesday. We gather around 9:50 a.m. to get organized with teams and decide on the games to play that day. Tee off time is 10:00 a.m.
We also get together on Thursdays at 10:00 a.m. to play and decide where we’d like to go for lunch.
All Ladies are welcome - you don't have to be a member to join us!
Irine Lee Tournament (Members Only)
Held after the Galiano Open with qualifiers from the Open who are members.
